The property A beautifully restored Tuscan farmhouse, set in the area between Florence and Rome, close to all the major cities of importance such as Siena, San Gimignano, Pienza, Montalcino... home of Brunello wine, and 10 kilometers outside of Montepulciano... home to vino nobile. The property itself has been renovated to first class standards, and offers four beautiful large independent apartments, completely fitted with all the necessary details to make your stay enjoyable.
The property consists of four apartments, one large double room with bathroom and kitchenette, and a private two storey cottage containing two very large double bedrooms, with two private ensuite bathrooms, kitchen and private garden. This property of course also shares the rest of the garden and land surrounding Le Manzinaie as well as its beautiful swimming pool.
As well, there is a large open plan dining area seating up to 20, with open grill fireplace for dining together, or preparing special request occasion festivities. Your owner and host will be glad to help you plan any special occasions and can also arrange, for a separate fee, catering to be provided on site upon request.
For the interest of large groups, for parties, weddings, anniversaries, etc., the whole of the property Le Manzinaie can be rented to hold 16 people in total. For these purposes both the indoor open dining room "Limoni" can be used for dining in, or the outdoor area with barbecue and covered pergola can also be used for these events. Other special features include specially arranged tours of the local wineries, visits to local villages of interest as well as a detailed itinerary of things to do and see on a daily basis, covering all the major points of interest within a fifty kilometer radius of your property. The owners are very pleased to offer also the opportunity to use their expertise in choosing and recommending local restaurants of the area, and will be happy to provide "taxi service" to those of you not wishing to patake of the local wines, while attempting to drive yourselves home!

All offer independent entrances, and all sleep two people with the possibility of a third bed for a child in the very large master bedrooms. All are ensuite and all come with fully equipped bathrooms and kitchens outfitted in first class style. The apartment Girasole sleeps four with a very large bedroom, ensuite bathroom, living and dining area offering a double size divan sofa bed for the extra two guests.
Le Viole (Violet) Is the property's independent cottage comprising two floors with master bedroom and ensuite bathroom with beautiful jacuzzi bathtub, kitchen and dining area. Upstairs a lovely large bedroom with ensuite bathroom, with massage point shower, the walls being hand painted and designed by the artist owner in trompe l'oeil, giving each property a personal look and feel.
The Neighborhood: The property is located five minutes away from beautiful Montepulciano, a lovely and historically important Tuscan hilltop town, famous for its' vino "nobile" and proximity to the beautiful Val D'Orcia...Probably one of Tuscany's most photographed areas and a top spot for photographing most of the scenes you see in the hundreds of calendars for sale in the area. Special trips can be arranged by the owners, upon request to visit one of the many local wineries, where you can marvel at the kind of work still happening today to bring your vino nobile to your dinner table! You are five minutes away from the local Montepulciano train station, as well as five minutes from an excellent local restaurant offering many specialties of the area, such as pici, their specialty pasta, ribollita a fabulous soup basically made of old bread and leftovers, and certainly not to be missed, plus a nearby supermarket selling fresh fruit and vegetables. For those shoppers amongst you anxious to find a bargain, addresses for the famous outlet factories of Gucci, Dolce and Gabbana, Fendi, etc., will be provided for your shopping pleasure! The large train station of Chiusi is only ten minutes away by car and can transport you to Florence, Rome or other points of interest quickly and economically. Daily itineraries take in other small hilltop towns of importance historically, and the owners are only too happy to share with you their history and knowledge and introduce you to some of the "off the beaten track" villages that would be otherwise missed by using larger guides of Tuscany. A wonderful opportunity to see the "real Tuscany" following their recommendations. Become a part of a family for a week or two and bask in the warmth of their hospitality and knowledge. Local trekking can be arranged, as well as hot air ballooning, bike rentals, horse back riding and an introduction to the local language school for those of you who would like to brush up on their spoken Italian. All you need to do is ask, if it is possible it will be arranged for you.
There is a 200 euro damage deposit required, and this can be paid directly to the owners at time of check in. This will be given back to you upon departure, less of course any charges incurred such as telephone, internet or use of the heating in the apartment.
